Photocap Release - Hometown Heroes Banner Program in Philipstown
Philipstown NY - County Executive Kevin Byrne is joined by Philipstown Hometown Heroes Military Banner Program Coordinator Cindy Trimble on June 12 outside Valenti Concrete on Route 9 in Philipstown. A patriotic banner recognizing the service of Mario Valenti is one of more than 150 images displayed in the town on the Route 9 and 9D corridors as part of the three-year-old banner program there. Byrne’s office helped secure approvals with the New York State DOT to display the banners on utility poles along the thoroughfares.

Welcome Message
“Remember that Putnam County is home. Regardless of what may make us different as individuals, it is our respect for each-other as neighbors, our desire to step up and serve, to lend a hand, and leave this beautiful county better off than we found it. That is what makes this place so special. It is with that in mind that we as a county government are here to serve, and will always serve, with a desire to do better.” - Kevin M. Byrne | Putnam County Executive
