Ribbon Cutting of Putnam County New Fire Training Center
CARMEL, NY – Putnam County’s Lt. Michael Neuner Fire & EMS Training Center will officially re-open for trainings following a ribbon cutting ceremony this week. County Executive Byrne will join local volunteer fire officials to see this state-of-the-art facility, which will serve fire departments from Putnam County and surrounding regions. The project was made possible by investments from Putnam County as well as a $300,000 grant secured by Senator Harckham. The center, now fully operational, offers a modern space for first responders to enhance their skills and receive critical training in a safe and effective environment.
