NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the County Executive of the County of Putnam at Room 300 of the County Office Building, 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York 10512 on the 24^th day of April, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m., concerning:

A LOCAL LAW

Amending the Code of the County of Putnam, as approved and adopted by the Putnam County Legislature on April 4, 2023, by resolution #74, by repealing Chapter 41 entitled “Deposit & Investment Policy” and replacing it as follows.

This Local Law amends Chapter 41 by replacing it with a revised version of the same law by updating the eligible list of banks and trust companies authorized for the deposit of money by the County. In addition, the local law increases the sum that may be invested by the County into approved cash management programs, as well as expanding the number of programs in which the County may invest.

This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon the filing with the secretary of state.
