Putnam County Clerk Swears in 17 New Citizens Wednesday May 1st 2024

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Putnam County Historic Courthouse. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 17 new citizens from 15 countries.

The Honorable Anthony R. Molé served as the officiating Judge and offered court remarks. American Legion Post 1080 advanced the colors, Father Szymon from St. James the Apostle Church led the prayer and New York State Assemblyman Matt Slater did the welcoming remarks. Karl Rohde, Director of Putnam County Veterans Service Agency led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Lauren Shields from LiveOnNY a double organ recipient was the guest speaker.
