Putnam County Clerk Swears in 31 New Citizens Wednesday March 26th 2025

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Putnam County Historic Courthouse. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 31 new citizens from 24 countries.
The Honorable Joseph J. Spofford, Jr., served as the officiating Judge and offered court remarks. Rabbi Sarah Freidson led the prayer and Putnam County Executive Kevin Byrne did the welcoming remarks. Fredrick Wennberg from VFW Post 5491 in Mahopac led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance and District Attorney Robert Tendy sang a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
