Putnam County Clerk Swears in New Citizens Wednesday May 6th 2026
Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Putnam County Historic Courthouse. Clerk Bartolotti did the welcoming remarks and administered the Oath of Allegiance to 11 new citizens from 10 countries.
The Honorable Anthony Molé, served as the officiating Judge and offered court remarks. American Legion Post 1080 in Mahopac advanced the colors, Father Szymon Kurpios from St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac led the prayer. Tanya Pennella, Deputy Director of the Putnam County Veterans Service Agency led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Margaret Purcigliotti from the Putnam County Health Department sang a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America.
