Naturalization Ceremony 3/25/2026 Putnam County Government, New York

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Putnam County Historic Courthouse. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 29 new citizens from 20 countries.

The Honorable Victor G. Grossman, Supreme Court Judge for the 9th Judicial District, served as the officiating Judge and offered court remarks. Pastor Andrew Columbia from Mt. Carmel Bible Church led the prayer and Honorable Robert Tendy, Putnam County District Attorney did the welcoming remarks. Jack Duncan, Master Sergeant, United States Marine Corp and an organ recipient led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. He was also our Guest Speaker. Margaret Purcigliotti from the Putnam County Health Department sang a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America. Pictures from the ceremony can be found below.

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Summer hours (mid-June through mid-September) are 8am to 4pm.
