Putnam's Cold Spring - A hot spot to visit in New York
Cold Spring in the past week was featured in the media as a destination spot to visit in the Hudson Valley.
The Discoverer Blog released their picks for Best Small Towns for each state across the nation. For New York State, they named our very own Cold Spring as Best Small Town.
“Travel north along the Hudson River from New York City to this dreamy daytrip destination. It’s impossible not to feel the weight of the world fall from your shoulders here when whiling away hours at the riverfront park.”
The U.S. Sun wrote an article in their Travel Section highlighting Cold Spring as a perfect fall getaway that is a short train ride away.
“ONE of America's most stunning and quaint small towns lies less than 50 miles north of its biggest and most bustling city. The idyllic village of Cold Spring, New York, nestled along the Hudson River, is just over an hour by train from Grand Central Station but feels a world away from Manhattan.”
Discover the beauty and charm of Cold Spring today. It is a quick ride or drive to Putnam County. We are located just an hour from New York City or Kingston, NY. Go to http://visitputnam.org/ for more information about what to do and see in Putnam County. #discoverputnam
