Putnam County Clerk Swears in 31 New Citizens Wednesday March 27th 2024

Putnam County Clerk Michael C. Bartolotti hosted a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Putnam County Historic Courthouse. Clerk Bartolotti administered the Oath of Allegiance to 31 new citizens from 17 countries.

The Honorable Victor G. Grossman served as the officiating Judge and offered court remarks. American Legion Post 1080 advanced the colors, Mia Conciatori and Alexandra Cuccia, Carmel High School students performed an instrumental rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner and God Bless America. Rabbi Avi Korer from Chabad of Putnam County led the prayer and Putnam County Legislator Ginny Nacerino did the welcoming remarks. Art Hanley, Deputy Director of Putnam County Veterans Service Agency led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance. Lauren Shields from LiveOnNY a double organ recipient was the guest speaker.
